Gaudi
There was always one thing I really wanted to see if I would ever go to Barcelona and that's Park Güell. Work of Gaudi has fascinated me since High school. Finally got the chance to see it. Amazing art work and creativity to build the park like that. It is interesting to see how those colored stones can have so much impact.
We
walked all the way up the mountain and when you get there....... Wow!
What an amazing view! Then I realized that Holland is really flat! Haha

Karl Fazer
I'm addicted to chocolate. And chocolate can be made in so many ways and mixed with different ingredients. So when I went to Finland and got introduced with Karl Fazer, I found myself in chocolate heaven. My favorite from Fazer is the Geisha bar. It's mixed with hazelnut pieces and it's now also available in dark chocolate. Fazer makes so many different flavors and for everyone there is something. I'm fortunate that every time we go up and down or if we have people visiting from Finland, I can taste the delicious chocolate. Curious?

The End, XOXO Gossip Girl
The first time I saw this tv show, I was immediately sold. The schemes, lies, betrayals, love, respect, friendship they had for each other was fun to watch every week. And of course the big question was always, who is Gossip Girl?! 'She' knew everything about everyone and make them look bad whenever was possible. And who would have thought that all this time it was a boy, in this case, Lonely Boy. Yessss Mr. Dan Humphry was the brain behind all of this and had a plan all along.
But everything has to come to an end, so up to check some new tv shows.
XOXO,

Paris......Je t'adore
Aaahhh Paris! The city I adore so much!
Couple of weeks ago, my friend invited me to celebrate her B-day in Paris. What a great time we had!. Clubbin' at L'Arc, lunch at Hotel Costes, watching the game PSG - Evian and as a tradition dinner at an Italian restaurant. We laughed, made jokes, had good conversations, we just enjoyed every minute of it.

Helsinki
The first time I met this wonderful city was last summer. Never been to Finland before, but I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful country. Been a couple of times in Helsinki, also cause my boyfriend is Finnish, so there my love for the Finnish landscape. The summer was already great, but look at that picture, what a winter wonderland in Helsinki. How can you not fall in love?

Present
December is the time of year when people start to think about how the year passed by and the harts they love. With Christmas and New Years Eve on the outlook, we start to make plans on how we can spend it in the most fantastic way. Some will pack their bags and spend it on a beautiful island, some will simply celebrate it with family and friends as a tradition. It's about the moment you take to be deeply grateful and appreciate what life has given to you, instead of being unhappy about the things you don't have. Along with the action of solidarity, giving presents can be a part of it. What is a great gift for these circumstances? Cause it's not someone's Birthday, it is a gift of gratitude. And do people see it that way? I don't know, or maybe some are just greedy for getting something. How much money will you spend or is it just going to be something small and cheap, cause it's about the thought that counts right?
As a kid, December was the perfect month for me. It represented the month of gifts. First my Birthday came up, then Sinterklaas ( a dutch holiday ) and the big finale, Christmas. So almost throughout the month I got gifts. Spoiled by my parents and family. Got the weirdest things on those special days, things I didn't needed at all.
So to go back on what is a great gift for someone? First of all I think it's always about the thought that counts and if it's also something that the person really wanted and or needed, maybe then it is perfect. And for the saints among us, being present is already the greatest gift they can give.
Good luck with shopping!

Happy Birthday to.......
ME!
What a lovely B-day weekend, I enjoyed every bit of it. It was simple, loving and enjoyable to the last second. When my love picked up the cake and we opened the box, we discovered the cake was way to big for us alone to eat. That meant, cake every day for dessert, pffff no wonder December is the month of gaining weight and this is just the beginning of it.
Saturday night we were supposed to have some drinks at Dusseldorf, but it started to snow and it was really cold, so we decided to toast at home where it was nice and warm. Cozy with the candles and great food.
Every birthday I always think back at the past year about what has happened. The good, the bad and the changes in life/as a person. My life turned a 180, nothing is the same. One year ago I said to myself I need a change in my life. I was tired of the life I was leading in Amsterdam. Not that I necessarily had to move away from Amsterdam, hahahha, but change was the keyword and what do you know, it happened immediately. The mind is a powerful thing. And during this new adventure you also discover who your true friends are, what you mean to them and how far they will go to maintain the friendship. This last year was full of challenges on every area of life. It was hard sometimes, but I have overcome all of it.
Looking forward to the next years, no idea where I'm living then or what I am doing.
But like always Carpe Diem!
Love,
Kimberlee

Monday
Yesss Monday, the day you know the weekend is over and a new week has started to make it memorable like the others in the past. And I always look so forward to Friday, so the relaxed ethos of the weekend can start. My weekend was great by the way. First had a lovely dinner with some acquaintances, which I was looking forward too, cause I've never met the ladies before. I was curious to know, how it would develop. It turned out just fine. Of course with some you have a better first impression then others, nevertheless the dinner was a good thing for all of us.
I also really enjoyed the Formula 1 GP Brasil race. Wow that was exciting to watch, cause the weather made it pretty difficult for the racers. Changing tires, slipping, bumping, being knocked out, loosing points, winning points. Fantastic race! So congratulations Sebastian Vettel.
Another realization on this Monday for me. 6 days left and then it's my BIRTHDAY!!!! Whaaaa becoming 29 this year!!! And I really don't feel like that at all, actually a bit younger. Hahahha But I do feel I have outgrown certain things I really cared for. Not so bothered quickly by little things, perhaps I see the bigger pictures more clearer while I'm getting older. Really excited to celebrate ( something I haven't had for a long time ) with my friends. Stressing out about what to wear, what kind of food to cook for dinner, which club are we going out too.....pfffff Oh yeah.....ordered my Bday cake today. Can't wait to eat it! F*ck I love cake!
Anyways, make the best of it this new week, do whatever makes you happy!
Love,
Kimberlee

.....and it continues
1000 + 1
Yesterday I didn't realize that it was my 1000th post on the blog. Wow so many stories about fashion, events I have visited, poems I have written, music that I love and so on and on. I never thought the blog would have worldwide visitors, cause all of this started out of boredom. Something I didn't take that seriously. So first of all, a BIG THANK YOU, for all the readers that kept coming back to view the things I like. And I will probably keep on posting about stuff I bump into, but in a different way now.
It's a nice fresh start after 1000 post to go on in a different direction. Could also be, cause my personal life has changed much. I don't live in Amsterdam anymore, but in some small town that lacks of inspiration for me. I do have the German city Dusseldorf nearby, thank god! Which is a great city by the way. You should definitely visit when you have time, money or if you're in the neighborhood. Anyway things have changed, I moved cause the love of my life switched jobs. I believe change is sometimes good. Re-invent yourself. Look for other possibilities that life throws at you. Make the best of every situation you fall into. I try to do so.
Love,
Kimberlee

Change of Plan
I haven't been blogging for such a long time and I will tell you the reason why. Everywhere I look on the net nowadays, is the same. Telling you about the new Louboutin shoes or how fashionable celebs look like is not refreshing anymore. That's not what The Newsht is about. It started out that way, but one of the basic ingredients was and still is, that I have always tried to be different, cause I simply am. I never saw this blog as a fashion blog, why?....cause I also like music, art, gadgets, cars, bikes, sports, anything that inspires me in this becoming materialistic world. Instagram is full of pictures of latest addition people bought. The more expensive the item is, the more "likes" it gets. Funny how shallow people really are in this time of crisis, but apparently human race rather fake it, like they have really made it, then to be true to who they are and not be ashamed of it.
Being unique is something everybody tries to be or to do and yet everybody is the same. Social media proofs that. So how can I distinguish The Newsht from all the other stuff that goes around in the Social Media world? Honestly....I don't know. The only thing I do know is, that I love writing. So that's what I am going to do. Viewers may be disappointed about it, but seriously there are enough blogs and websites to view with the same newsh*t anyway. And some people are even better then I am, maybe they were just more driven about being the hottest blog on the net. I just never liked to be the same like others, already had that since I was a child. I'd like to be an individual, to bad most people rather be a herd animal.
It may sound really arrogant, but this is my view on the world now and I have the freedom to write. So from now on, I will write down my memoirs. And we will see what comes out from that. Maybe along this process I will get inspired again to be unique at something else. But until that time....I hope you like to read what I have to say.
With Love,
Kimberlee

You see so many high top sneakers for men nowadays, but I adore these, cause they have such a different look. Really edgy, yet sophisticated. It will look great with anything!

Interview Magazine
Mila Kunis
by
James Franco
FRANCO: You started acting at a really young age, right?
KUNIS: I was 9 years old when I started.
FRANCO: How did that happen?
KUNIS: I came to the States in 1991. I was around 7 and a half at the time. By the time I was in fourth grade, I spoke English pretty fluently, but, believe it or not, I was shy, and my parents wanted me to make some friends. They both worked all the time, and on the weekends my brother or my grandparents took care of me, so my parents were looking for an outlet for me, like art classes or karate, and on the radio it was advertised that there was a place for kids to meet other kids called Beverly Hills Studio. My parents took me there, and it ended up being a showcase. The people there were like, "Yeah, your kid's got it!" Although, at that point, every kid has got it. They were like, "Write us a check and your kid will be a star." So my dad was like, "Uh . . . yeah . . . No thanks. Good-bye." And left. I don't know why my mom did what she did—if you talk to her, she'll say that she had a gut feeling—but she took out the checkbook and wrote a check for $400 for me to take acting classes. So I did, and two or three weeks go by, and Susan Curtis, who is my manager to this day, was driving by and saw a bunch of cute kids. She pulled in and was like, "I'm a talent manager," and they're like, "How fortuitous. We're doing a showcase tomorrow at 6 p.m." She was like, "I'll be there." So the short of it was that my parents told me, "Listen, we can't afford this. We work full-time. We can't do this. We're so sorry. We don't understand these auditions. We don't get this." But I did the showcase, and these agents and managers started to call, so my dad said, "Okay, this is your decision. If you want to do this, then you pick the person who you feel connected with the most." So I picked Susan. She took me on my first audition the next day, and I ended up getting it. It was a Barbie commercial. That's how it started.

The Attic - Dusseldorf
Since 1 1/2 month ago I moved to the south of Holland. For a Big city girl like me, it was a big change, but when you love someone dearly, any place is good enough to live at. Anyway luckily we have Dusseldorf nearby and what a great city is that! Great stores, bars, restaurants and clubs. On one of the German websites, I saw that an acquaintance of mine had to DJ there. The perfect opportunity to discover the nightlife of this new town in my life. It was a Hip Hop night and I had a great night at The Attic! Looking forward to discover some more hotspots!
Most Fashionable Footballer Award 2012
One year ago I met the love of my love at this award show, so for us coming back to this place, meant something special. And this year also my cousin Stefano Lilipaly was nominated, double worth the shot to come and take a look. Unfortunetly I had to leave the award show, due to some family situation. Family comes first, no matter what.
